Bridals and Tooth Fairies

I had my bridal pictures done yesterday. Obviously, I cannot post those until after the wedding. One more thing down, and now less than 3 weeks till the wedding! It makes me sad each time another thing passes. My shower, my bridals - I just keep thinking that I will never have another one of those again and I need to savor every minute of it. My bachelorette party is coming up in 2 weeks, that will be A LOT of fun. It will be the first time I have had alot of my friends together in the same room. I have so many "eras" of my life, as we all do, the older we get. I have my friends from elementary, my friends from youth group, my friends from Roadhouse, and my friends from various jobs where I have worked. And now, all of them will be at the wedding and I am so excited.

Jordan lost another tooth, this I will post because he looks so old now. I look at Jordan and Sophie and I can't believe I have known them a year. They seem so much older now, and it just makes me realize how fast time flies and how precious time is. I wish we got to see them more, but it is what it is. We get them for a whole month in July, which is going to be so great. We have never spent that much time with them at once before, not even Jason. Before I came into the picture, he was never able to have them for a week at Christmas, or a whole month because he couldn't do it with work. I am glad I get to be a part of that and help. My friend Kate has a little sister, Molly, who is the perfect age to come over and watch the kids for a few hours during the day. (Seeing as how I work about 5 minutes away from the apartment, I think we will be good). Ah, babysitting days.

Anyway, here is a picture of Jordan and his tooth fairy dollar!

I'm glad to know that our tooth fairy gives the same amount. $1 for regular teeth and $2 for each big front tooth. I've heard people giving $5 and $10. Not us! And I soooo wish I could be there for the big party and the wedding! I'm so sorry, Jenna!! I guess I'll just have to enjoy it in pictures.

Guess Who Has A New Potty???

This girl!! Jason and I took Avery to Target tonight to find a potty chair. We didn't know what kind to get. When we got there, she loved the Sesame Street one. It's the kind that sits on the toilet, not an actual chair. I've heard both reasonings on a chair and a pad for the real toilet. On one hand, the chairs are little and easier for them to sit on and they aren't scary to flush. On the other, the pad doesn't require you to have to clean out a chair and they teach kids to sit on the big potty from the get go. What it really came down to was that we just don't have a big bathroom at all, so keeping an actual chair in the bathroom would have been hard. So we got the pad. It has a little hook that you attach to the tank, so you can hang the pad on it. I love this! I have no intention of actually potty training Avery full out, just yet. I don't think she is ready. But I have heard it's good to have one that they can practice sitting on and get u...

Some Changes...

We've been going through a bit of a transition at the Whitehead household the last month or so. I haven't really talked too much about it because I wasn't ready, to be honest. It's just a lot of change and I've been trying to figure it out in my head.   As of three weeks ago last Friday, I am no longer a full time work out of home employee.   I can't believe I just said that.   It's been the plan for several months now for me to go into real estate and it was always assumed I'd be doing that part time, while keeping my full time job. Plans kind of changed when Jason got his promotion. He'd always has a job that allowed him a lot of flexibility. In sales, especially after you've been in a position for a while, it just sort of happens that way. He could take Avery to daycare and pick her up, he could take her to doctor's appointments, he could even do chores around the house in the afternoon, while I was at work. I had some flexibi...

Just a little bathroom project....

Raise your hand if this is what your bathroom looks like after every round of baths at your house????
