AAAHHHH - Don't Look! I am warning you!!

Sophia is always asking me to do makeup. I am always hesitant to say yes, because it gets all over EVERYTHING. And she doesn't just want to makeup my face, she wants to make up my arms, hands, legs and feet too. So, I promised her I would do make up on Saturday morning. So, this is what we looked like after! (The beard was her idea).

The dogs get a workout when the kids are here. Mostly, the kids just lay on them, chase them, hug them. The dogs are warn out by the time they leave!

Sophia wants to hold Avery and feed Avery all the time. Since Avery is getting bigger, every time Sophia asks, I am like, SURE!!! One less thing I have to do. Man, I am a lazy parent.

I wish the kids eyes didn't turn out red, but I haven't had a chance to PhotoShop. Little cuties.

Avery wore her first sandles to Sunday. I've taken better pictures, but hey. She doesn't take a bad picture, does she?

What is Your Skin Care Regimen?

Since turning 34 this year, I've been really trying to make sure I am taking care of my skin. I have been using Cover Girl Liquid Powder for years, but it always seemed to break my neck out. And full disclosure, my face cleaning routine consisted of using Avery's baby wipes (which actually do remove eye makeup surprisingly well). So, needless to say, my skin didn't always look its best. I love it when God smiles upon us. I mean, He smiles upon us all the time. But sometimes, it's like sunshine, and Christmas morning, and rainbows, and babies, and awesomeness. On steroids. And I know that those times are not always permanent, so I learn to really wrap myself in His goodness, to take it all in, be happy, and just sit back and wait to see what He is going to do in my life. We have been struggling so long. I knew it was only a matter of time before things would be OK again. Where we would feel a little stability. Where we would take all of the things we learned while struggling and apply then when times are good. We have alot of great things going on in our lives right now. Some really great things. Some amazing, mindblowing, off the grid kind of great things. I wish I could share more, but for right now, let's just say that we are incredibly blessed with some great opportunities God is putting in our lives. Why I am Pro Universal Healthcare and Changes to Our Healthcare System

Due to my recent proactivity with my credit and paying off debt, I decided to give the hospital a call where I was admitted about a month ago and ask about my bill. I wanted to make sure I didn't miss it in the mail and I wanted to get an idea of what I'd be paying for my stay. I get on the phone with the billing department and the woman is just as nice as can be, really. She was surprised I'd even called her, considering I didn't even have a bill yet.
