Ok, I was going to show some pictures of Seattle but I haven't gotten around to it yet. However, I bought some stuff last night that I started using...its called Heat 2 Bond. I was looking for Stitch Witch, but Walmart didn't have it.
On my list of things to do, craft wise, was to make dog beds. We were using four old pillows with old pillowcases that were hideous, but I couldn't afford to buy 2 $60 dog beds. Remember how I said I was going to spend $10 every couple of weeks for my house? Well, this was my week! I also had a seam that came out of my new pants, so I spent $2 on some of this stuff and I was addicted as soon as I mended my pants!! I was just looking for things to "mend."
Before I bought serious material, I wanted to see how this stuff would stand up to the dogs first. So I just found an old sheet, cut it down to size and started mending. It took me all of 30 minutes from start to finish. I left one side open so I could take the pillows out and wash them. Right now, I am just putting two pillows in the bed, but next time, I will use stuffing and make it with heavier material. They got a stamp of approval from Molly right away!!!
I am so glad we got at least something decent for the dogs to lay on!!!
