Nawni and Avery

Shari loved having Avery there. I really wish they lived closer so we could see them more!

Seattle Part 5

After the waterfall, we took a little detour to the railroad museum. We saw this huge tree trunk! I wish I would have seen more ,but Avery was in a bad mood. It was still a cool little town, though!

Seattle Part 4

Robert and Shari live on several acres and Jason took me down on their property. On the way down the hill, the property is lined with blackberry bushes. In the summer, Jason said the kids just go crazy eating them! There is a creek that runs down the side of the property as well. We had a little fun "clearing" the path with a machete (another fun toy!) When we got to the bottom of the property, Jason said, "Jenna, look, dear!" They were so close! It was so amazing being down in that much nature!

Seattle Part 3

Shari always sees this beautiful tree on the way to her house, and she kept telling us she wanted to get our pictures taken in front of it. It really is the most beautiful tree, out in the middle of so many beautiful trees! But all trees there are green and this one was the prettiest shade of purplish-pink blossoms. We decided to take a trip to Snoqualmie Falls in Washington to see the beautiful waterfall. On this day, Avery was NOT having it. She fussed and fussed and FUSSED in her carseat on the way there, then cried when we got there and then FUSSED on the way back home. I tried to enjoy myself as much as I could, but I have to say that my stress level with a crying, upset baby was high. I will say, the waterfall was really pretty. There was this really neat looking resort on the edge of it that would be really cool to stay at! We had coffee and looked over the edge, as Avery took a nap in her harnass-thing on her daddy's chest. Then, I could really enjoy myself! This was my...

Seattle Part 2

When we got back to the house, we were tired, but not too tired to play with Robert's toys! Even though the wood was wet, Jason was convinced he was going to start a fire in the fire pit. Robert got out the flame thrower, which is also used to burn weeds, which is what we were trying to do. Then, it was target practice with the bb gun! I beat Jason by the way!!

Seattle Part 1

We started off our trip with a trip to Pike's Market in downtown Seattle. It was awesome! We walked through the market and saw huge fish, beautiful flowers, and coffee everywhere! It was great fun just to walk around and see the sights. We went through the market, down the waterfront, and through the streets to see the performers. It was a great day but we were ready to come home!
